Nothing New
Nothing of major importance has happened lately. I've still got mono, and I've been going to school mostly for only part of the day. Then I'm too worn out to continue.
Stuffed Fantasies won 4th in the NP2K film festival out of 7. Right in the middle, as I expected. So yay. Now I'm busy writing scripts for a new festival. I finally finished one a few days ago, but I think it might be too long. We'll have to see. I won't be directing it, so it'll be interesting to see how my vision of it compares to the final product.
IBs are coming up May 2nd, so I need to start studying. Luckily, it worked out so that I'll finish exams the 13th. The exam period lasts until the 24th, but all the exams after the 13th are electives I don't take. After that I'll basically be on vacation until graduation in June. Woohoo! I'm almost done with high school!
I'm also spending my time counting down the days until the new Star Wars movie is released on May 19th. And praying that it will be better than the last two.

It's Over. I Finished It.
On Tuesday, I went to school to school in the afternoon to get help on my computers project. The teacher was very helpful, and said she had managed to get it worked out so I could turn it in on Sunday since I had mono and was having lots of problems. She also said to take the rest of the day off and rest.
Then, on Wednesday morning, she called and said she had found out that they needed it by Friday in order to send in the grades or something.
The result: I worked from that moment on until 4AM Friday morning, fixing my program and writing 275-300 pages of documentation. That's around 42 hours in without sleep in total - and I have mono. I got halfway through my last section of the documentation before I started passing in and out of consciousness and hallucinating noises. So I decided to just screw it and lose a point or two.
I woke up at 4PM Friday afternoon. Right now, it's 2AM Saturday. And I need to sleep, but I'm a night person and my biological clock is all messed up, so I'm still awake.
I've also been working on a new script. It was originally supposed to be for a movie around 20 minutes or less, but I think it will end up being a lot more than that. I'm trying my hand at writing something serious, and going for something that's "deep" and really weird. I probably won't end up directing it. At least not for a few more years, when I actually have the experience to do it well. Maybe I'll see if I can get someone else to direct it though. I think it has potential to be pretty good. That is, if I can just pull the script together - at this point it's basically just a bunch of random scenes that aren't really connected to each other.
Okay. Time for bed.

Sleep? What's That?
I've been working my butt off over the weekend trying to finish my computers project. It's due Wednesday, and I still haven't gotten the program to work flawlessly let alone done much with the hundreds of pages of documentation. Last night I was up until 5 AM. If I want to get this finished, sleep is going to have to wait for a while.
Some better news: Stuffed Fantasies premiered on Saturday as part of the 3rd NP2K Film Festival. You can download it here. So far it is getting generally positive response, but don't read what other people have said about it until you watch it yourself, otherwise it will spoil the movie for you.
Let me know what you think!
