Swept Away

The Return of the King was nominated for eleven Oscars. It won eleven. It basically swept the Oscars in all categories except for acting. And, what do you know, the people I predicted would go home with a little gold statue did. Not like it wasn't obvious this year.

Ok, a quick picture update. My school website finally put up some images. I'm the guy jumping around with a sign (It says "Rhapsody Rules! Play it Live" by the way) in this one. Here the sign says "I Love You Majo" - she's the host in the picture - and that's her picture on the back of my shirt. In case anyone out there was wondering, I was basically the number-one-fan-of-the-show-who-just-happened-to-drink-a-million-Red-Bulls-and-is-really-really-really-hyper. Hence the jumping like a jackrabbit with a wedgie (is that physically possible?). I'm somewhere in that back left circle in the Matrix dance here and I'm the second guy in the back row (not on top) in this one and the second guy from the top here. I look reasonably normal in that one. And of course, if you're a fan of super heroes, you just can't miss The Hulk, Superman and Wonder Woman, The X-Men trying to help poor Professor Xavier up onto the stage, an Oriental Robin Hood, Captain America kicking some Taliban butt, SpongeBob and a Mexican superhero whose name I can't spell and the entire gang, including Spider-Man, Batman, Zorro and some people from the Alice in Wonderland skit.

I don't think I'll torture you with another mountain of links just yet. More are on the school website, so just go there.
